Hilling up the vines in La Perrière vineyards

This plot from our Domaine de la Perrière was hilled up this week. This is the first operation in the preparation work of the soils to come. This operation is realized with “interceps” blades. This technique aims at softening and aerating the soils which are going to warm up more easily and therefore boost the restart of the micro-organism activity (mushrooms, bacteria…)
