Nearly forty years ago, the Saget family set out on a mission to make Saget La Perrière a modern, family-run company specialising in wines from the Loire. Jean-Louis provided the original impetus and his sons Arnaud and Laurent Saget now embody these values, passionately portraying their vision of a company recognised for the quality of its wines and the people who run it every day.

Maison Saget La Perrière is first and foremost a family affair, the story of Jean-Louis and Marie-Claire Saget and their two sons Arnaud and Laurent. Born into a family of wine growers based in Pouilly-sur-Loire for generations, Jean-Louis Saget successfully grew the business from a small firm into Maison Saget La Perrière, one of the most respected companies in the Loire Valley. He achieved this in just a few decades thanks to his modern vision of the wine world.

Through its collection of signatures and Estate wines, the Saget family has skilfully established a unique business model for the Loire. Arnaud and Laurent Saget are the present-day custodians of this distinctive heritage and are proud to be able to reach out to a broad-ranging audience with the countless gems in the Loire’s wine region.

As his company grew, Jean-Louis Saget successfully expanded his workforce and instilled in it the desire to see a job well done. A taste for hospitality
For the past ten years, the company has diversified into the tourist industry by buying two hotels in Sancerre. The overriding aim for the Saget family is to allow Epicureans to extend their wine tourism getaway by staying in the heart of the wine region and to share the Loire lifestyle experience with wine enthusiasts.
